FORT WORTH, TEXAS - West New York Area Resident Bishop Violet Fisher was honored Sunday for her service to the United Methodist Church.
Bishop Fisher was among eight retiring bishops who were honored at the 2008 General Conference of the United Methodist Church meeting in Fort Worth, Texas. The bishops retire after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 67 years old....
