The 2005 Strategic Action Plan approved by the Annual Conference was recently updated to reflect the adoption of new goals by the 2007 Annual Conference.  It has been revised this summer by conference staff to reflect current disciplinary paragraph numbers, update dates and timelines, modify staff descriptions, and delete those portions of the original plan relative to the initial budget, transition plan, and timeline.  The revisions will be presented to the Covenant Council on September 8, 2007 for review and approval on November 13, 2007.  The entire revision will be placed before the 2008 Annual Conference for ratification.  In the meantime, the Covenant Council is authorized to approve ad interim changes as necessary.
